Lord, as we survey the needs of the people of Alaska, we know that many are leading full and productive lives while many others are existing in very difficult situations. With the high rates of drug and alcohol addiction, suicide and the scourge of many forms of domestic abuse, we pray for Your help and healing for our people all across this great state. In the Word of God You said: "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land." Lord help us to trust in You with all our heart and to acknowledge You in all our ways so that You will direct our paths. 2006-04-07 Senate Journal Page 2700 Lord, we pray for Your wisdom and guidance in the Senate. We ask that Your presence and protection will be upon the Senators and each of their families today. I pray this in the matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
