Dear Lord, today is Friday and there are still some loose ends that we would like to tie up before our work is completed for a couple days. We pray for guidance and direction for this day. And when our work is laid aside, we pray for safety on the highways and in the airplanes and on the ferries. Many will be rejoining family members and we ask that those reunions be joyful and beneficial. We pray that this weekend will give us the rest we need physically, mentally, and spiritually and that Monday will again find us back here again in our usual places refreshed and renewed to serve You and the state of Alaska. For those who are missing from our midst because of sickness, we pray for their speedy recovery. May God be with each of us. Amen. 2005-02-04 House Journal Page 0232 The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Kelly.
