     Dear Lord Jesus;

     We thank You for this beautiful day and this beautiful
     season. We thank You that we can come together and think
     of new life springing forth, with the green trees and the grass
     growing. Lord, I want to thank You for the health that we
     have as well. We realize that there are many people whose
     lives we are affecting, whose health is less than what it
     could be.

     God, as we get ready to continue with the end of session
     maneuvering, may we have the maturity to continue on with
     what You have given us. Lord, even though we disagree,
     may we not be disagreeable. Give us humility and give us
     patience, especially during this election year.

     We pray especially for our families and our friends
     throughout this state and throughout this nation. We pray for
     a safe summer. In Your name, Amen.
