Pursuant to adjournment the House was called to order by Speaker                                    
Kott at 11:08 a.m.                                                                                  
                                                                                                    
Roll call showed 39 members present.  Representative Moses was                                      
absent and his presence was noted later.                                                            
                                                                                                    
The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Pastor Jimmie Woods of                                  
Glacier Valley Baptist Church.  Representative Fate moved and asked                                 
unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal.  There                              
being no objection, it was so ordered.                                                              
                                                                                                    
    I realize, recognize, and respect that we come from different                                   
    religious backgrounds.  I invite you to join me in a time of                                    
    prayer.  Let us pray.                                                                           
                                                                                                    
    God, I am thankful that this body of elected women and men                                      
    will set aside time to recognize You today to seek wisdom,                                      
    discernment, and guidance from You.  I am thankful for these                                    
    who have dedicated their time, talents, energy, and expertise                                   
    to make this a better state, a better community.                                                
                                                                                                    
    I am thankful for democracy, the right of dissent, the right to                                 
    protest, the right to speak our views.  I am reminded that there                                
    are those who do not have this freedom, so thank You, God,                                      
    for the privileges You have given to us.  Thank You for the                                     
    beautiful sunshine, blue skies, and clear ocean.  I thank You
