Senator Torgerson, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Resources Senate Committee Substitute offered on page 2632. Without objection, SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 44(RES) was adopted and was read the second time. Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent that the resolution be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered. SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 44(RES) was read the third time. The question being: "Shall SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 44(RES) Strongly urging the President of the United States, the United States Congress, and appropriate federal officials to support the construction and operation of the Alaska Highway Natural Gas Pipeline route, pass the Senate?" Senator Taylor gave notice of reconsideration.
