His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Father, we do bless You for Your faithfulness and for the foundation of this nation, for the faith of our founding fathers and the principles that they established. Father, we ask that You will help us be strengthened as a nation. We pray today for unity, wisdom and understanding. We ask, Lord, that You would guide the affairs that take place in this place and throughout our government today. Lord, we are reminded today of the words of 2 Chronicles7:14 telling us we are to seek for divine wisdom and guidance. You said, If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2611 2000-03-15 Senate Journal Page 2612 Lord, we pray all over this land, where there is a need for healing and unity and restoration, You would give us the wisdom to connect with the Divine Plan and bring peace and prosperity in our land.
