With deepest respect for the spiritual life of each person here, let us pray: O God whose name is Love, hear us as we express our personal concerns that we hold in our hearts this morning: we pray for our families, for our communities, for places in the world torn by hatred and violence, and we pray for all who live in dangerous and difficult situations. Hear our prayers. Calm our anxious hearts. Help us find ways that our hands and hearts can be used to alleviate suffering, bring peace, and take down the walls that divide people and nations.
