We are reminded of the words of the psalmist, I lift up my eyes to the hills . . . where does my help come from? The psalmist answers, My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. We do give thanks for this past week and the work that has been accomplished. May each person have opportunity to take a time of rest and re-creation over the weekend, so that body, mind and heart can be renewed and prepared for the challenges of the coming week and months. Give safe journeys to those who are traveling and will be traveling over the weekend and return them to our capital safely and without difficulties in the midst of these winter storms. 163 1999-02-05 Senate Journal Page 0164 We thank You for the commitment of those who make up this body.
