Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. God, may we today recognize that in all things, Your perfect love for us has our best interest in mind, whether the things that we experience are to develop perseverance or an appreciation for Your grace, blessing and goodness. In doing so, may we follow Your example in our work today, that we might seek to set ourselves aside and serve others according to what their real needs are. We ask this in Jesus Name, Amen.
