The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Pastor Cary Henrichsen of the Auke Bay Bible Church. Representative Davis moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it appears below: The Bible tells us in James 1:16-17, "Do not be deceived, my dear brothers. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." God, may we today recognize that in all things, Your perfect love for us has our best interest in mind, whether the things that we experience are to develop perseverance or an appreciation for Your grace, blessings and goodness. In doing so, may we follow Your example in our work today, that we might seek to set ourselves aside and serve others according to what their real needs are. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Masek. CERTIFICATION OF THE JOURNAL Representative Green moved and asked unanimous consent that the journal for the 49th and 50th legislative days be approved as certified by the Chief Clerk.
