Sing to the Lord a new song for he has done marvelous things! Let the sea resound, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy. (Psalm 98: 1, 7-9) How many are your works, O Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number--living things both large and small. May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in his works. (Psalm 104: 24, 25, 31) Dear Lord, Thank You for Your magnificent creation. Each day this week we have been reminded of its spectacular beauty. As we wrestle with the challenges of managing, allocating, protecting and sharing resources You have created, help us to do so with wisdom, respect for each other and most importantly, with respect for You. In Jesus Name, Amen. 4243 1998-05-29 Senate Journal Page 4244 Senator Lincoln led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance.
