Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President            
Miller at 11:01 a.m.                                                           
                                                                               
The roll showed twelve members present. Senators Donley, Halford,              
Kelly, Leman, Mackie, Pearce, Ward were excused from a call of the             
Senate. Senator Ellis was absent.                                              
                                                                               
The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Senator Parnell. Senator               
Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be                   
spread. Without objection, it was so ordered.                                  
                                                                               
Dear Lord God, Thank You for this new day. Thank                              
You for the knowledge and wisdom we receive                                    
from You and others. Thank You for our children,                               
Alaskas promise for the future. We acknowledge, O                              
God, that our hope is not found solely in ourselves                            
as we are far from perfect people. Thank You,                                  
instead, that You can be our everlasting joy.

dated March 4 was received, stating the monetary terms for the                 
collective bargaining agreement reached with Public Employees Local            
71, representing employees in the Labor, Trades and Crafts Unit in
