Pursuant to adjournment, the House was called to order by Speaker              
Phillips at 1:50 p.m.                                                          
                                                                               
Roll call showed 33 members present.  Representatives Barnes, Croft,           
Masek, Moses and Therriault were absent and their presence was noted           
later.  Representatives Sanders and Williams were absent.                      
                                                                               
                                                                               
The invocation was offered by the Chaplain Designee, Representative            
Hudson.  Representative Green moved and asked unanimous consent                
that the invocation be spread on the journal.  There being no objection,       
it appears below:                                                              
                                                                               
"Heavenly Father, give us knowledge, give us compassion,                      
give us understanding of each other's differences.  Lord, help                 
us understand the depth and seriousness of the decisions we                    
have to make in this and the next few days.  Lord, make us                     
always friends, make us love our fellow man regardless of                      
who he or she might be.  Heavenly Father, we ask this in
