"From the Bible -- Eccl. 3:14-15: 'I know that, whatsoever
God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor
anything taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear
before him. That which hath been is now; and that which is to
be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.'

Dear Father,

We come in unison to Thee this morning to affirm that the
solutions we seek to this day's problems are already

established. 'That which is to be hath already been' because
You are the 'author and finisher' of all things. It is not our job
to create. Our job is to listen for Your voice and witness to
Your revelations. Our work is to diligently lay aside
personalities and temptations that suggest You are not in
complete control; that suggest there are no answers to some
questions. We humbly ask and expect to receive the ideas
You have for us knowing 'that before we call You will
answer.' Divine love illumines the path we walk today and
nothing can detour us from our successful destination."

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Barnes.

Representative Porter moved and asked unanimous consent that the
