Grant that we may walk through this day with integrity, treating ourselves and each other with dignity and respect. In the midst of difficult decisions, give us the gifts of wisdom and discernment. Help us temper justice with mercy, righteousness with compassion, and make us ever mindful of those in need, whether through their own faults or the faults of others. And finally, help us find some bit of joy and laughter in this day, to lighten our spirits and give us perspective. All this we ask in Your holy name, so that at the end of this day we can rest in the assurance of Your love, and the knowledge that we have done our best to live out our call as Your servants.
