CONSIDERATION OF THE CALENDAR SECOND READING OF HOUSE BILLS HB 32 CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 32(FIN) An Act relating to administrative proceedings involving a determination of eligibility for a permanent fund dividend or authority to claim a dividend on behalf of another; and providing for an effective date was read the second time. Senator Taylor offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 1, line 9: Delete request the department to review its decision. Insert file an appeal with the department. Within eight months after an appeal is filed, the department shall provide the individual with a written decision. If the department fails to provide the written decision within the eight-month period, all issues raised in the appeal shall be considered to have been decided in favor of the individual.
