The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Father Peter Gorges of the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Roman Catholic Church. Senator Lincoln led the Senate in the pledge of allegiance. CERTIFICATION Senator Halford moved and asked unanimous consent that the journals for the twelfth, thirteenth and fourteenth legislative days be approved as certified by the Secretary.
