Heavenly Father:

We need You to bring out the good side in us. Exaggerate
anything You see that looks like You. Polish up Your image
inside each of us. Accentuate anything in us that reminds
You of Your Son.

Alert us to our assigned battle stations in life and help us to
develop and use the gifts and abilities You have given to us.

Help us, O God, to remember that, though we can only see on
the outside, You look on the heart. Remind us in terms that
we can hold on to, that You are more concerned with what is
under the hood than with our paint job, pinstripes and
hubcaps.

Amen.
