Dear Heavenly Father, You well know what we need even
before we ask You. Show us Your mercy, we pray, and be
with those assembled here, Your instruments and servants of
the people of Alaska, that they might be given wisdom to
distinguish between what is wanted and what is needed. Give
to them and to us all greater courage to say no' to ourselves
and to seek rather what is right and just, through Jesus Christ
our Lord. Amen.
