The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Senator Sharp. Senator Zharoff moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Lord, we ask today for Your guidance in giving us the patience to seek out wise solutions. Please provide us with the courage to make difficult decisions, and give us the ability to recognize the strengths of each legislator in this body. And most importantly, Lord, help us to come together and utilize these virtues for the best interests of all Alaskans. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.
