Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President            
Halford at 4:45 p.m.                                                           
                                                                               
The roll showed eighteen members present.  Senators Pearce, Taylor             
were absent.                                                                   
                                                                               
The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Senator Leman.                         
                                                                               
Senator Zharoff led the Senate in the pledge of allegiance.

for the third legislative day of the First Special Session of the
