Senators Jacko, Salo were absent. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Pastor Richard Green of the Glacier Valley Church of God. Senator Duncan led the Senate in the pledge of allegiance. CERTIFICATION Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that the journal for the one hundred twelfth legislative day be approved as certified by the Secretary. Without objection, it was so ordered. The presence of Senators Salo and Jacko was noted. CONSIDERATION OF THE CALENDAR SECOND READING OF HOUSE BILLS HB 126 SPONSOR SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 126 "An Act establishing the current prevailing rate of wages issued at least 10 days before the final submission of bids as the prevailing wage rate for public construction projects and requiring periodic adjustment of the wage rate" which had been held to the May 3 calendar (page 2024) was read the second time. Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that SPONSOR SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 126 be advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Senator Jacko objected. The question being: "Shall SPONSOR SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 126 be advanced to third reading?"
