Dear God, we begin this day by acknowledging You as Lord of all life; provider, sustainer, creator. We give thanks for this day that You have created and that we have been called to live within this day to give it our very best. We pray for the work of the Senate and for all the individuals that sit here as representatives of government. We pray that You will give them wisdom, courage - speaking the truth and being guided by what is good for those within this state. We pray for the committees as they continue to do their work and make decisions that will be presented for this body. Again, we ask that You will guide us in this day and give us the wisdom needed to live as faithful representatives of You. In Thy name, we pray.
