The roll was taken with the following result: CSSB 82(TRA) Third Reading Letter of Intent No. 1 YEAS: 13 NAYS: 7 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Donley, Frank, Halford, Jacko, Kelly, Kerttula, Leman, Miller, Pearce, Phillips, Rieger, Sharp, Taylor Nays: Adams, Duncan, Ellis, Lincoln, Little, Salo, Zharoff Kerttula changed from "Nay" to "Yea". and so, the first Letter of Intent was adopted. Senator Frank offered Letter of Intent No. 2: Letter of Intent No. 2 for CS for SB 82(TRA) It is the intent of the Legislature that the Administration will maintain adequate fish and wildlife protection and enforcement officials in the game management units adjacent to the Dalton Highway during hunting seasons in those units for the purpose of enforcing AS 16.05.789, and other applicable game laws and regulations. It is also the intent of the Legislature to support the continuation of a game management checkpoint on the Dalton Highway. That checkpoint yields significant voluntary information that allows our state to properly manage game resources. Finally, in order to better serve the residents living in the area adjacent to the Dalton Highway corridor, it is the intent of the Legislature that the Administration use
