There being no objection, it appears below: "Holy and wise God, You know all things; and You order all things according to Your eternal plan. We have come to understand that You expect us to work along side of You, to bring that plan into completion. And specifically, You have shared with us responsibility for the completion of Your plan for this great state of Alaska. Lord, give us the wisdom to comprehend what Your plan really is, for the people of this state. Lord, give us the wisdom to weed out the good legislation, from that which is not so good. Lord, give us the wisdom to work together in the most effective way, as a bicameral legislature. Lord, give us the wisdom to effectively coordinate our activities with our men in Congress, so that together we can reflect Your wisdom in what we do...and yes, even Your holiness, in the way we do it. Amen." 1 1994-04-07 House Journal Page 3174 The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Ulmer.
