Representatives Brice, Carney, Davidson, Davies, B.Davis, Grussendorf, Hoffman, MacLean, Menard, Nicholia, Olberg, and Sitton had been previously excused from a call of the House today. Representative Moses, who had been previously excused from a call of the House today, was present. The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Associate Pastor Dave Snyder of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. Representative Hudson moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it appears below: "Dear Heavenly Father, We are so grateful for all that You do for us. We thank You for Your saving grace and love which sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. I pray for the House of Representatives, as they meet today, just before the Easter weekend. I pray that You would allow their discussions to go smoothly, and that as each vote is made, it would be made according to Your will. I pray for a profitable day for each one who is here this morning. Thank You once again for everything that You do for us. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen." COMMUNICATIONS Letters of disclosure were received in accordance with AS 24.60 and appear in House Journal Supplement No. 13 and House & Senate Joint Journal Supplement No. 18. REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES The State Affairs Committee has reviewed the qualifications of the following and recommends the appointment be forwarded to a joint session for consideration: James I. Adams as a member of the Alaska Public Offices Commission. The report did not reflect an intent by any of the members to vote for or against the named individual during any further sessions for the purposes of confirmation.
