Representative Hoffman had been previously excused from a call of the House today. Representative Phillips moved and asked unanimous consent that the following members be excused from a call of the House today: Representatives MacLean, Menard, Sanders and Williams - until later plane time due to weather conditions; and Representative Nicholia - from today to 10:00 p.m., plane time, February 6, 1994. There being no objection, it was so ordered. The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Pastor Larry Rorem of the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. Representative Davies moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it appears below: "Dear Lord, Be with all who are gathered here this day. We bring to this room much power and authority. Help us to use these realities not to diminish one another or build walls that stand in the way of much needed accomplishments.
