The following was again before the House in second reading: HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 9 Protecting the lifestyle of pachyderms and other exotic animals. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Menard: Page 1, line 1 (title amendment): Delete "and other exotic animals" Page 1, line 3: Delete "and certain other exotic animals" Page 2, line 4: Delete "and certain other exotic animals" Page 2, line 5: Delete "enter" Insert "enters" Representative Menard moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered, and the new title appears below: HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 9 am Protecting the lifestyle of pachyderms. The question to be reconsidered: "Shall HR 9 am pass the House?" The roll was taken with the following result: HR 9 am--RECONSIDERATION Second Reading Final Passage YEAS: 36 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 2 ABSENT: 2 1994-04-18 House Journal Page 3562 HR 9 Yeas: Barnes, Brice, Brown, Bunde, Carney, Davidson, Davies, B.Davis, G.Davis, Finkelstein, Foster, Green, Hanley, Hoffman, Hudson, James, Kott, Larson, Mackie, MacLean, Martin, Menard, Moses, Mulder, Navarre, Nicholia, Olberg, Parnell, Phillips, Porter, Sanders, Therriault, Toohey, Ulmer, Williams, Willis Excused: Nordlund, Vezey Absent: Grussendorf, Sitton Green changed from "Nay" to "Yea". Nicholia changed from "Nay" to "Yea". And so, HR 9 am passed the House on reconsideration and was referred to the Chief Clerk for engrossment and enrollment.
