CHAIRMAN MILLER called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order
at 10:36 a.m.
CHAIRMAN MILLER brought CSHB 364(JUD) am (ELECTION CRIMES;
INTERFERENCE W/VOTING) before the committee. Hearing no
discussion, he asked for the pleasure of the committee.
SENATOR PEARCE moved and asked unanimous consent CSHB 364(JUD) am
be approved for calendaring. Hearing no objection, it was so
ordered.
CHAIRMAN MILLER brought CSHB 384(HES) am (PIONEERS' HOME -

CHAIRMAN MILLER brought SB 283 (DOCUMENT FILING, INDEXING, &
RECORDING) before the committee. He directed attention to a
proposed Rules CS that adds a new Section 5, which allows an index
system designed so the public may find documents by location, as
well as by names of grantors and grantees. Also, Section 7 was
added to correct some technical problems contained in the original
bill.
SENATOR PEARCE moved adoption of CSSB 283(RLS). Hearing no
objection, the Chairman stated the motion carried.

approved for calendaring. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
