Senators Bishop, Gray- Jackson, Shower, Tobin were excused from a call of the Senate. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Major Gina Halverson, The Salvation Army. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Dear Lord, thank you for the men and women who uphold their leadership roles with honor and dignity. We thank you that they look after the beauty, the agriculture, the various cultures that mold together to create an environment where all can yield from the bounty that Alaska offers. Continue to provide knowledge and understanding to all who work together for the betterment of Alaska and those who call this beautiful state home. Amen.
