Pursuant to adjournment the House was called to order by Speaker                                                                
Tilton at 1:32 p.m.                                                                                                             
                                                                                                                                
Roll call showed 37 members present. Representative Dibert was                                                                  
absent.                                                                                                                         
                                                                                                                                
Representative Saddler moved and asked unanimous consent that                                                                   
Representatives Ortiz and Story be excused from the call of the House                                                           
today. There being no objection, it was so ordered.                                                                             
                                                                                                                                
The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Reverend Guy Crockroft                                                              
of Love In The Name of Christ.  Representative Vance moved and                                                                  
asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal.

    With the deepest respect for the religious beliefs of all

    Dear Heavenly Father,                                                                                                       
    I thank you for this day and for this beautiful state of Alaska.                                                            
    Thank you for this body, the Alaska House of                                                                                
    Representatives. Please bless each Representative and their                                                                 
    staff members as they serve and grant them the ability to love                                                              
    each other even when they have differences of opinions.                                                                     
                                                                                                                                
    Lord, we thank you for the gift of love. As we read in 1                                                                    
    Corinthians 13 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not                                                                 
    envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not                                                               
    behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks

   no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;                                                           
    bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures
