MESSAGES FROM THE GOVERNOR SB 21 A message dated August 25 was received stating the Governor signed the following bill and is transmitting the engrossed and enrolled copies to the Lieutenant Governor's office for permanent filing: HOUSE CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 21(L&C) am H "An Act relating to occupational licensing of members of the military and their spouses; relating to mobile intensive care paramedics; relating to duties of the State Medical Board and the Department of Health and Social Services; and providing for an effective date." Chapter No. 28, SLA 2021 Effective Date: November 23, 2021 SB 89 A message dated August 25 was received stating the Governor signed the following bill and is transmitting the engrossed and enrolled copies to the Lieutenant Governor's office for permanent filing: HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 89(HSS) "An Act relating to house rules for assisted living homes." Chapter No. 27, SLA 2021 Effective Date: November 23, 2021 COMMUNICATIONS The following audit reports were received from the Division of Legislative Audit, Legislative Budget & Audit Committee, as required by AS 24.20.311: Dept. of Commerce, Community, & Economic Development Board of Examiners in Optometry Sunset Review June 9, 2021 2021-08-28 House Journal Page 1421 Dept. of Revenue Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority Status of Select Asset Management Issues Performance Review July 6, 2021 CONSIDERATION OF THE DAILY CALENDAR SECOND READING OF HOUSE BILLS HB 3003 The following, which was automatically carried over to today's calendar (Page 1417), could not be considered in a technical session and will be on the August 30 calendar: HOUSE BILL NO. 3003 "An Act making an appropriation from the general fund to the Department of Education and Early Development for the payment of educational programs; making an appropriation from the earnings reserve account for the payment of permanent fund dividends; making an appropriation from the earnings reserve account to the budget reserve fund; and providing for an effective date."
