Senator Costello was excused from a call of the Senate. Senators Olson, Reinbold, Shower were absent. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent Senators Reinbold, Shower be excused from a call of the Senate today. Without objection, Senators Reinbold, Shower were excused. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Pastor Mike Rose, Juneau Christian Center. Senator Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Lord thank you for this day, and for your mercies that are new every morning. In the words of the Psalmist: “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him, For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.” Lord we thank you for your protection and for your peace and the joy that gives us hope! SCR 12 Message dated March 11 was read stating the House passed and returned: SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 12 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, concerning House Bill No. 206, making appropriations for the operating and capital expenses of the state's integrated comprehensive mental health program.
