Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President

Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent the prayer be spread.

          Almighty God my heavenly Father, thank you for this                                                                   
          wonderful day you have made. As we continue to                                                                        
          work toward concluding this special session we                                                                        
          request your guidance and intervention for us in                                                                      
          reaching agreements within the governing bodies that                                                                  
          we have the honor working in on behalf of all                                                                         
          Alaskans. For those who serve our people in public                                                                    
          safety and armed services we give thanks and lift                                                                     
          them up in our prayer for your protection. For our                                                                    
          families, we offer our petition for grace from you in                                                                 
          their times of need. For those among us hurting for                                                                   
          whatever reason we ask for your helping hand. Thank                                                                   
          you for giving attention to our prayer and I look                                                                     
          forward to your answers.
