Senators Begich, Kiehl were excused from a call of the Senate. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Senator Bishop. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Dear Heavenly Father, I'd like to thank you for the many blessings you have bestowed upon us, those answered and unanswered. I ask that you give us guidance as we go forward. I ask that you place your protection over all of us and all of our families. I ask that you give us guidance and wisdom as we go forward on this day. In Jesus' name, Amen. Senator Wilson led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance.
