The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Pastor Mike Rose, Juneau Christian Center. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Almighty God we lift our hearts and minds to you in thanksgiving for the amazing gift of life in a free nation. Thank you for the sacrifice of so many who helped to secure the liberty we enjoy. In the complicated times in which we live there is great comfort in your invitation to boldly bring our petitions into your presence. Lord, may your grace, favor and wisdom be upon the Senate today as they serve the people of this great state. We also ask that you bless and protect the Senators families and their staff. The following fiscal information was published today: Fiscal Note No. 1, Alaska Judiciary System President Giessel added a Finance Committee referral to the bill. SB 94 SENATE BILL NO. 94 BY SENATORS GRAY-JACKSON, Wilson, Olson, Kawasaki, Begich, Wielechowski, Kiehl entitled: "An Act establishing the month of April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month." was read the first time and referred to the State Affairs Committee.
