Senator Stevens was excused from a call of the Senate. Senator Kawasaki was absent. Senator Costello moved and asked unanimous consent Senator Kawasaki be excused from a call of the Senate today. Without objection, Senator Kawasaki was excused. The prayer was sung by the Chaplain, Sherry Patterson, Local JACC Coordinator, accompanied by The Reverend Bobby Lewis and Ryan Shaw. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. SB 53 The Education Committee considered SENATE BILL NO. 53 "An Act relating to the duties of the Board of Regents of the University of Alaska" and recommended it be replaced with CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 53(EDC) "An Act relating to reporting requirements of the Board of Regents of the University of Alaska."
