Help us, in the midst of our struggles and discernments for right action, justice and truth, to meet one another without ill will or bitterness, and to work together with mutual forbearance and respect. Creator God, source of all wisdom, whose will is good and gracious, and whose law is truth, bless this Senate of the State of Alaska. With your blessing, we ask that this Senate may enact just laws that address the welfare of the citizens of the State of Alaska as well as the needs and protection of her great lands and seas. We ask that those whom we entrust with the authority of government be gifted with understanding and the gracious empowerment of wisdom. Help us to lift and help our 2019-01-25 Senate Journal Page 0104 neighbors in need. We pray for those who live with the constant companions of injustice, terror, disease and addiction.
