Without objection, the citation was adopted and referred to the Secretary for transmittal. Unfinished Business Concur Messages SB 89 Senator Costello moved to take up the concur message on HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 89(JUD) "An Act relating to the Legislative Ethics Act; and providing for an effective date" which had been held on the Secretary’s desk (page 805). Without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Costello moved that the Senate concur in the House amendment and recommended the body vote no. Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. The question being: "Shall the Senate concur in the House amendment?" The roll was taken with the following result: HCS CSSB 89(JUD) Shall the Senate Concur in the House Amendment to CSSB 89(JUD)? YEAS: 0 NAYS: 20 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Nays: Begich, Birch, Bishop, Coghill, Costello, Giessel, Gray- Jackson, Hoffman, Hughes, Kawasaki, Kiehl, Micciche, Olson, Reinbold, Shower, Stedman, Stevens, von Imhof, Wielechowski, Wilson and so, the Senate failed to concur.
