Representative Eastman objected and placed a call of the House. Representative Thompson moved and asked unanimous consent to withdraw the motion. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Eastman lifted the call. JOINT SESSION IN THE HOUSE In accordance with Uniform Rule 51 and an announcement by the presiding officers of an agreement to meet in Joint Session, Speaker Edgmon turned the gavel over to President Giessel who called the joint session to order at 11:11 a.m. The purpose of the joint session was to consider the Governor's veto of the following bill: SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 2001(FIN) am S "An Act making appropriations for the operating and loan program expenses of state government and for certain programs; capitalizing funds; making supplemental appropriations, reappropriations, and other appropriations; making appropriations for the operating and capital expenses of the state's integrated 2020-01-24 House Journal Page 1450 comprehensive mental health program; and providing for an effective date." Roll call of the Senate showed 19 members present. Senator Wilson had been excused from a call of the Senate today. Roll call of the House showed 38 members present. Representative Gillis had been excused from a call of the House today. Representative Carpenter was absent. Representative Reinbold lifted the call. Senator Shower rose to a point of order. Representative Jackson rose to a point of order. The President cautioned the members to proceed in order.
