Representative Neuman had been excused from a call of the House today. Representatives Carpenter, Drummond, Fields, Merrick, Rasmussen, Rauscher, Revak, Shaw, Story, Stutes, Talerico, Tarr, Tuck, and Zulkosky were absent. The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Representative Hannan. Representative Kopp moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it was so ordered. With the deepest respect for the religious beliefs of all Alaskans, I offer the following prayer: God grant me the serenity To accept the things I cannot change; Courage to change the things I can; And wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace. Amen.
