Without objection, it was so ordered. God of all creation and giver of life, liberty and all things right and proper. We come before you with gratitude for the life given us and the responsibility we carry for our people. As we are away from our loved ones - we need your comfort for them and us - while we deliberate the issues required of us. Please guide us with divine wisdom and patience - with respect for one another as we work to honor the people, and law of our land. Bless our veterans - as we remember their service and willingness to sacrifice for us, to keep us free. While we differ strenuously on many issues and methods help us to honor you as we learn to properly care for each other in our time here. As we engage throughout this day I ask that your Spirit would guide us - even while we are unaware of your presence. And I offer this prayer in the name of my Savior Jesus Christ, Amen. Senator Hughes led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance. 2017-11-10 Senate Journal Page 1664 Certification Senator Micciche moved and asked unanimous consent that the journal for the eighteenth legislative day of the fourth special session be approved as certified by the Secretary.
