Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President                                                             
Kelly at 2:07 p.m.                                                                                                              
                                                                                                                                
The roll showed eighteen members present. Senators Dunleavy,                                                                    
Giessel were excused from a call of the Senate.                                                                                 
                                                                                                                                
The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Senator Olson. Senator                                                                  
Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be                                                                    
spread. Without objection, it was so ordered.

          As we are gathered here this afternoon, with our thoughts                                                            
             toward home, our children, grandchildren, may wisdom
