Full Journal pdf2017-03-21 Senate Journal Page 0587 SENATE JOURNAL ALASKA STATE LEGISLATURE THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE FIRST SESSION Juneau, Alaska Tuesday March 21, 2017 Sixty-fourth Day Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President Kelly at 11:00 a.m. The Senate was convened for the purpose of a technical session. Senators Egan, Gardner, Micciche, Wielechowski, Kelly were present for the technical session. Senator Stevens was excused from a call of the Senate. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Father Pat Casey, Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Messages from the House SB 91 Message dated March 20 was read stating the House passed and returned: CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 91(HSS) "An Act relating to the opioid epidemic; authorizing the chief medical officer of the Department of Health and Social Services to issue a standing order for the prescription of an opioid overdose drug; and providing for an effective date." The bill was referred to the Secretary for enrollment. 2017-03-21 Senate Journal Page 0588 Standing Committee Reports Report dated March 20 was read stating: In accordance with AS 39.05.080, the Resources Committee reviewed the following and recommends the appointment be forwarded to a joint session for consideration: Big Game Commercial Services Board Henry Tiffany IV - Ester This does not reflect an intent by any of the members to vote for or against the confirmation of the individual during any further sessions.
