Protection of the corpus of the Permanent Fund against the erosive effect of inflation over time. 2. A draw limit on the portion of earnings of the Permanent Fund drawn for use by state government. 3. A savings rule which captures and saves at least some peak revenue, and places these savings into the corpus of the Permanent Fund. Senator MacKinnon, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page 258. Senator Gardner objected, then withdrew her objection. There being no further objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 9(FIN) "An Act relating to military facility zones; and providing for an effective date" was adopted. Senator Micciche moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered. CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 9(FIN) was read the third time.
