Senators Bishop, Costello, Micciche were excused from a call of the Senate. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Reverend Nancy Campbell, White Fields Church. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for this day; a day you have made; a day of blessing. And on this day, I invoke Your blessing on the Senate. Grant them wisdom, grace and direction as they tackle the issues challenging our state, the great state of Alaska. Fill them with divine inspiration. Be their vision. Be their strength. Be their healer. Be all they need today. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon you and the rain fall gently down. Unfinished Business SB 39 Senator Begich moved and asked unanimous consent to be shown as a cosponsor on SENATE BILL NO. 39 "An Act adopting the Municipal Property Assessed Clean Energy Act; authorizing municipalities to establish programs to impose assessments for energy improvements in regions designated by municipalities; imposing fees; and providing for an effective date."
