I thank you, God of the ages, that through the decades and centuries you have given us leaders of wisdom and courage who guided us towards freedom and liberty for all. I thank you almighty God for the leaders of government who guide us today. I pray for our president, our governor, and 2017-02-20 House Journal Page 0298 especially for the Alaska State House of Representatives. Loving God, I pray that you would bless these servants with a spirit of grace for one another, wisdom to discern the best way through the challenges before them, and strength of body and mind to sustain them in the days ahead. Heavenly Father, thank you for these men and women whom you have called to be servant leaders. Thank you for their dedication and the sacrifices they make to care for this great state of Alaska. Encourage and protect their families, as many are far from home. And as this day draws to a close and they take their rest, help them to know that you have walked with them and guided them.
