With deep respect for all religious beliefs, I offer the following prayer: Dear Lord, We come before you thankful that we have another day to see and partake in. We thank you for your grace, mercy, and loving kindness. We ask that you would allow our day to be productive, purposeful, and peaceful. Help us, Lord, to remain focused and on task as we go about our responsibilities for the people of Alaska. 2016-06-17 House Journal Page 3108 I ask your continued blessings upon the members of this body and you would lead, guide, and strengthen our ability to make sound decisions. Bless the people of Alaska with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding and help us all be good citizens, respectful in our disagreements, and generous in our behavior toward one another. Let us remember those who have recently suffered tragic loss, and provide comfort in their time of mourning and need. We ask these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
