With the deepest respect for the religious beliefs of all Alaskans, I offer the following prayer. Good Lord, free us from cowardice that refuses to face new truth, from laziness content with half-truths, and from arrogance that thinks it knows all truth. When we feel puny and defeated, fill us with creativity and hope. When we feel divided and bitter, guide us with constructive conflict and cooperation. When we feel isolated and lost, open our eyes and hearts to see the bounty around us. Lead us with a spirit of joy and hope trusting in compassion as our guide and justice as our companion. Amen. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Gattis. 2016-02-03 House Journal Page 1550 CERTIFICATION OF THE JOURNAL Representative Millett moved and asked unanimous consent that the journal for the 14th and 15th legislative days be approved as certified by the Chief Clerk.
