With the deepest respect for the religious beliefs of all Alaskans, I offer this prayer. Good and gracious God, we pause this day to offer thanks for the many blessings bestowed upon this great state and nation. I pray for our legislators who represent the minds and hearts of Alaskans, and as they are about their elected duties that they continue to work toward the common good of the entire human family protecting the rights of all. We pause to recognize our women and men in uniform who this very day confront the evils of our world. May they know of our confident support, and know in the end as you have shown time and time again, the evil will always bow to the truth. And may we never take for granted the incredible freedom we enjoy in this great nation. 2015-03-16 House Journal Page 0492 We ask this prayer in your most holy name, we pray. Amen.
